Data Management

FactoryTalk View Overview

FactoryTalk View, including FactoryTalk View SE, FactoryTalk View ME and FactoryTalk View Studio, are HMI software products designed with a common look, feel, and navigation to help speed HMI application development and training time. Supporting the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture, FactoryTalk View is part of the scalable and unified suite of monitoring and control solutions designed to span stand-alone machine-level applications up through supervisory-level HMI applications across a network. FactoryTalk View Studio

FactoryTalk® Metrics
  • FactoryTalk® Metrics software monitors plant-floor equipment and provides real-time and historical visibility of key performance indicators (KPls), These help manufacturers better understand the real causes of inefficiency, waste, lost capacity and equipment downtime, Users also can create custom events to monitor and track whatever is important for a particular machine, such as downtime analysis, predictive maintenance, intramachine optimization, equipment states and fault calculations.

  • FactoryTalk® Metrics software collects a range of data from the control system for calculating overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and other default KPls, including total/good/scrap production counts; availability; ideal and actual cycle times; and failure frequency rates

  • In addition, machine event history and performance information can be collected around-the-clock, providing the measurement data needed for overall operational efficiency
